Everyone who reads has a chance to win prizes!
Reading together, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and being read to all count toward your reading time.
Challenges
Pre-Readers (ages 0-4)
Log the early literacy activities you and your child do together to earn badges and rewards. Finish 48 activities to complete summer reading, and earn small rewards along the way! All participants will be entered to win a small prize.
Kids (ages 5-11)
Log the minutes you read, up to 12 hours, to earn badges and rewards. For every 60 minutes you read, you’ll earn a raffle ticket that can be entered to win a prize! Reading together, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and being read to all count toward your reading time.
Teens (ages 12-18)
Log the minutes you read, up to 12 hours, to earn badges and rewards. For every hour you read, you’ll be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card! The more you read, the higher your chance is to win. Reading together, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and being read to all count toward your reading time. Participants who are age 18 must choose this challenge OR the adult challenge. They cannot participate in both.
Adults (ages 18+)
Log the minutes you read, up to 12 hours, to earn badges. For every hour you read, you’ll be entered to win either an Amazon Fire 8 tablet or an Echo Show! The more you read, the higher your chance is to win. Participants who are age 18 must choose this challenge OR the teen challenge. They cannot participate in both.
Prizes
Pre-Readers (ages 0-4)
- 12 activities: Sticker
- 24 activities: Growth Chart
- 48 activities: Water Toy
Pre-Reader Grand Prizes
All participants will be entered to win one of these prizes:

Kids (ages 5-11)
- 1 hour: Sticker & Pencil
- 2 hours: Shark Glider
- 4 hours: Temporary Tattoo
- 8 hours: Bubbles
- 12 hours: Clown Fish Launcher & a $5 fine forgiveness coupon
Kids Raffle Prizes
All participants can enter raffles for one of these prizes. Instructions on how to enter the raffles are below:

Teens (ages 12-18)
- 2 hours: Tic-Tac-Toe Keychain
- 4 hours: Giant Squish Sticker
- 8 hours: Sea Life Stress Ball
- 12 hours: Sea Life Hi-Bounce Ball & a $5 fine forgiveness coupon
Teen Grand Prizes
All participants will be entered to win one of seven Amazon gift cards. The more you read, the higher your chances, up to 12 hours.

Adults (ages 18+)
- 12 hours: $5 fine forgiveness coupon
Adult Grand Prizes
All participants will be entered to win one of these prizes. The more you read, the higher your chances, up to 12 hours.
Getting Started
- Visit pinemtnlibrary.beanstack.org or download the app on iOS or Android.
- Create an account and add readers.
- Register each reader for the Oceans of Possibility challenge.
- Log reading to earn badges, rewards, and chances to win grand prizes.
- Have fun reading and earning rewards all summer long!
- If you do not have access to the Internet or a device, you may request a paper log from the library. You can also print copies from here: (Link coming soon).
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I earn and claim my rewards?
- Everyone can earn rewards by reading and logging the number of minutes read on Beanstack.
- The rewards differ for each age group.
- Visit the library by July 23, and we can look up what you have earned.
How do I earn raffle tickets and enter a raffle? (For Kids Challenge only. All other challenges are automatically entered to win!)
- Log minutes, up to 12 hours, to earn tickets, which can be entered into raffles for a chance to win a prize.
- The last day to submit your tickets is July 16 at 11 p.m.
- On the website, select the Ticket Drawing tab.
- On the app, select the Oceans of Possibility challenge under Current Challenges. Then tap on the Drawings icon.
- Select which item you hope to win, and enter the number of tickets you’d like to put towards it. You can enter multiple raffles.
