We have free events throughout the summer!
Everyone who reads has a chance to win prizes. Reading together, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and being read to all count toward your reading time.

Getting Started

  • Visit or download the app on iOS or Android.
  • Create an account and add readers.
  • Register each reader for the Adventure Begins at Your Library challenge.
  • Log reading to earn badges, rewards, and chances to win grand prizes.
  • Have fun reading and earning rewards all summer long!
  • If you do not have access to the Internet or a device, you may request a paper log from the library.  
Donations & Sponsorships

There are several ways to support your local Summer Reading program!

  • Sponsor a performance (contact Jennifer for more details at (706) 846-2186 ext. 1008).
  • Donate a raffle prize. We need prizes for children, teens and adults! If you’d like to donate a raffle prize but you aren’t sure what types of items are acceptable, reach out to us.
  • Provide refreshments for a (non-performance) program. Dates to be announced in May.
  • Volunteer to help sign up Summer Reading participants during our programs.
  • Give a monetary donation. Visit to donate to your local library. Make sure you write "Summer Reading" in the notes. You can also donate in person at your local Pine Mountain Regional Services library. If you'd like to send a payment by mail, call (706) 846-2186 ext. 1008 for information on how to do so.
Organizations and individuals who donate prizes and refreshments will be acknowledged on the library’s social media page,, as well as our online Summer Reading tracker, Beanstack. Performance sponsors will be acknowledged on our website, our social media page, on Beanstack, and on program flyers and calendars.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I earn and claim my rewards?
  • Everyone can earn rewards by reading and completing activities on Beanstack.
  • The rewards differ for each age group.
  • Visit the library by July 19, and we can look up what you have earned.
How do I earn raffle tickets and enter a raffle? (For Kids Challenge only. All other challenges are automatically entered to win!)
  • Only the Kids challenge earns raffle tickets. All other age groups are automatically entered to win a grand prize.
  • Ages 5-11 will earn tickets for every badge completed.
  • The last day to submit your tickets is July 13 at Midnight.
  • On the website, select the Ticket Drawing tab.
  • On the app, select the Adventure Begins at Your Library challenge under Current Challenges. Then tap on the Drawings icon.
  • Select which item you hope to win, and enter the number of tickets you’d like to put towards it. You can enter multiple raffles.

Beanstack says I have to pay to subscribe.
If you’ve received this notice on Beanstack, it means you didn’t select to participate with our library. Make sure you look for “Pine Mountain Regional Library System.” If you have trouble, a staff member can help.
I don't have a smartphone or Internet. How can I participate?
Beanstack is accessible through the Beanstack app on any Android or Apple device. If you do not have a smartphone, you can access Beanstack via the website at

If you do not have Internet at home, you can use computers at any of our locations for free. However, you may want to keep track of your participation with a paper log. If you'd like to do so, you can print out a paper log from one of these links, or visit any of our locations and request one.
