This program is designed to be a fun and easy way to help your child develop pre-reading skills vital to kindergarten readiness.

Ready to begin?

Visit pinemtnlibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app from Google Play or the App Store. Create an account and add readers. This is the same program we use for Summer Reading, so you might already have an account. Register your child for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge. Then log the number of books you’ve read together to earn badges and prizes.

Who can participate?
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is for any child who has not started kindergarten yet — babies, toddlers & preschoolers.

Do we have to finish by a certain time?
The only deadline is the first day of kindergarten for your child. This is an ongoing program.

How do I claim my child's prizes?
Visit any Pine Mountain Regional Library location to redeem prizes. Locations  & hours can be found at pinemtnlibrary.org/locations.
