Programming Note:

We will suspend Reading Circle, Storytime, Teen and Lego Groups after April 18 so everyone can participate in the Summer Reading Program. See details on Summer Reading Program »


  • Manchester Public Library
    • Reading Circle: Mondays @ 10:30 a.m. until April 18
    • Crafts: Mondays @ 4:00 p.m. until April 18
    • Storytimes: Wednesdays @ 10:30 a.m until April 18 – We have lots of fun at Library Storytime! We read stories, sing songs, do fingerplays, make crafts and so much more! Each month has a theme. Children are welcome to bring a small toy or object that relates to the theme and share it with the group.
      • Storytime lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Parents and caregivers are invited to come and participate with the child.
      • When attending a storytime please try to be on time as latecomers can be a distraction to the children.
    • Lego Group: Wednesdays @ 4:00 p.m. until April 18
  • Hightower Memorial Library (Thomaston)
    • Storytimes: Wednesdays @ 10:30 a.m. until April 18
      Stories, songs, and so much more! All ages welcome.



Summer Reading Program

Every year the Summer Reading Program gives children, teens and adults a chance to explore their library, participate in fun activities, and see a variety of performers.
